I never realized the special bond that parents have with their children until my son Jaxson was born. I have two other children but Jaxson made me realize so much more. My grandparents Jeri & Allan are amazing grand parents. They have always been there for me. And I as their eldest grand child am very lucky to say the least to have them. Jaxson was born shortly after midnight 10 days before Christmas. Weighing in one once shy of seven pounds. I spent seven hours in labor ( my quickest labor I've had yet lol) and I went threw labor and delivery all natural. No pain medication no epidural. Jaxson was also my heaviest baby. I went threw this pregnancy with so much love and support and encouragement. It had made it so much easier to go threw my pregnancy with jaxson because of everyone that was surrounding me and the love, that everyone had for me & nick and our unborn son at the time. My biggest supporters were my grand parents Jeri & Allan my wonderful in laws Karen & Jeff and a few others. There are members of my family who made it a little discouraging but as we all can see their negativity has effected me. I am a very proud mother. And my better half is a very proud father. And our perfect son Jaxson has no shortage of people who love him. And he will never be discouraged by family members. We as his parents won't allow it. But I wanted to tell my grandparents thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for always being there for me to talk,cry,complain to. Thank you for just being you guys and never letting me fail. Always telling me that I can do what ever I set my mind to. And most of all THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH PROUD GRAND PARENTS AND EVEN MORE SO PROUD GREAT GRAND PARENTS. Jaxson is one very special child to have the love and family he does.

Thank you grandpa. That means a lot to me. And I know you and grandma are there for me nick and jaxson. And like grandma has always said to me " blood doesn't make you family, you choose who you allow to be "family" ! There is a lot that I am thankful for and there is a lot of people I am glad are no longer apart of my life. I am very glad to say that jaxson will never know the hurt or anger that these people who are no longer apart of my life have. I am 25 years old and there is one person I am truly truly thankful for to have in it an that's my MOM (Karen). She isn't blood but she is the only mom I have.
There will come a day in every ones lives that they realize the negativity they carry will get them nowhere but lonely and old. I have made my mistakes but I am woman enough to admit it. But jaxson will never have to worry about being hurt by those who have hurt me or have put me down! All that matters is that jaxson has a mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, two great grandmothers, and a great grandfather who love him and will not let any one hurt him!
